Bio:
Aimo Okkolin (1917–1982) was one of Finland’s most acclaimed glass designers and worked his entire career at Riihimäen Lasi. He is best known for his sculptural vases and his iconic “Lumipallo” lamps. Okkolin’s works are characterized by a perfect harmony of form and light and are today highly sought after within Finnish modernist glass design.
