Bio:
Royal Copenhagen was founded in Copenhagen in 1775 as the Royal Porcelain Factory. Blue Fluted was the factory’s first pattern and was assigned pattern number 1. Its characteristic hand-painted blue decoration on fluted porcelain has remained central to the factory’s production since its foundation and is today considered one of the most recognisable Danish porcelain services.
