Bio:
Faïencerie de Gien, founded in 1821, is one of France’s most renowned producers of faience. During the 1970s and 80s, Gien introduced several colourful and motif-rich series, often featuring strong graphic or nature-inspired designs such as “Savane”. These pieces blend traditional French craftsmanship with a distinctly modern decorative expression.
