Unusually large sign from the women's clothing store Svend E. Svend E was founded in 1946 in Frederiksberg, and the chain consisted of a total of eight stores.

The hanger is from the 1960s, and has originally been hung as an advertising sign in front of one of the stores. Expectedly it has expected patina, scratches, and marks but all in a charming way.
It is made of painted wood, and the metal wire is gold-painted.

Today it would look great as part of a wardrobe.
